In 2007 the TCKCT implemented the Tall Ships Project with the kind assistance
from The Cirdan Sailing Trust ( http://www.cirdansailing.com )
 

With the financial support from The Amber Café’ and Sandylands Nurseries of
Evesham the Venture was a tremendous success.

The countless hours put in over the previous 12 months made the challenge of
getting 36 youngsters to become the crew of The Queen Galadriel a realistic
opportunity.

Between the 4^th and the 25^th of August 2007 this opportunity became a reality
and saw those taking part sail over 400 miles making land fall in St Malo,
Cherbourg, Channel Islands and having a great time under sail along the
South coast of Great Britain.

The adults who accompanied the crew were nothing short of amazing giving
guidance, support and encouragement to all.
