The Adventure Challenge which the
Charity runs is
designed to show
young teenagers the versatility of
off road
vehicles with the chance
for them to
experience first hand a new and
challenging environment.
The course is situated on private
land on the Cotswold
way and its
use comes following the kindest generosity
of Woodlands Generators.
Having been implemented on the 250
acres site those
taking part get
a breath taking view of the vale of
Evesham
and out over all the
surrounding villages from
a height of approximately
1250 feet above
sea level.
The vehicles and drivers are taken
to the limit of their
technical
and physical ability during sessions which
last
between 4 and 8 hours
and cover a large variety of
situations from
serious mud baths to
40 degree changes
in terrain.
The instructors all have been
trained by the Land Rover
Experience
team and specialist instruction in
winching
can also be introduced
where appropriate.
The location also is used with a
number of Survival
Camps being
implemented throughout 2007 and 2008
